Greater Manchester's hospital coronavirus death toll has risen by eight - but some trusts have reported no deaths

Eight more people have died with coronavirus in Greater Manchester, according to the latest NHS figures. It brings the total death toll in the region's hospitals to 1,734.

Two of the region's main NHS trusts - Pennine Acute and Tameside - have recorded no news deaths in the last 24 hours. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Bolton NHS Foundation Trust recorded one new coronavirus-related death each.

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust recorded two new deaths each.
