The previous smallest Grammys audience of all time was 17 million viewers in 2006, according to the Times. Sunday's Grammys saw Taylor Swift make history by becoming the first woman to win Album of the Year three times after taking home the award for Folklore, while Billie Eilish won Record of the Year for "Everything I Wanted" and Beyoncé officially became the most-awarded female artist in the history of the Grammys.
The ceremony, which had been delayed almost two months due to the pandemic, featured performances from artists including Swift and Eilish.
