Graham Linehan has been suspended from Twitter after breaching the social media site's rules on using banned words - and has appealed to Mumsnet users to help him get his account back.
The Father Ted and IT Crowd creator, who goes as @Glinner on Twitter, posted a message on the parenting website after being forced to delete a string of old tweets that had been reported by - in his words - trans rights activists.
Graham has previously been accused of holding transphobic views and received a warning from West Yorkshire police in 2018 after a Twitter row with transgender activist Stephanie Hayden, who claimed the comedy writer had 'deadnamed' her and used incorrect pronouns.
