Google’s Vice President Ronan Harris appeared on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain to discuss how the tech company is helping small businesses.
And the tech giant boss was forced to address the companies tax payments by hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins. During the interview, the duo listened to Ronan share on how the brand are trying to help small business' amid the coronavirus pandemic with advertising bursaries and mentoring.
The two presenters admitted that it was a good gesture but pointed out that it would be more helpful if Google coughed up 20% tax - just like small businesses are forced to in the UK.
