Gogglebox’s Daniel Lustig-Webb reveals reason for split from Stephen as he breaks silence
ok.co.ukGogglebox's Daniel Lustig-Webb has revealed the reason behind his split from husband and co-star Stephen, as he admitted they decided to privately separate ten months ago.Their six-year marriage ultimately came to an end, he said, because they fell out of love, and realised they were better off as friends.
Hairdresser Daniel, 43, who still shares a business with Stephen, revealed that they mutually decided to end their romantic relationship after numerous challenging conversations.
Despite ending their marriage, Daniel and Stephen have managed to maintain a strong friendship and even continue to share their Brighton home.
Speaking to The Sun, Daniel said: "We split around 10 months ago, it's always a massive adjustment and it's been very hard for the two of us - we were finding our own time before we released anything." Luckily, he pair have managed to salvage a friendship after amicably parting ways, which Daniel says was a "complete joint decision". "We only finished Gogglebox a year ago and we were still going fine, but it got to the point where we needed to have a chat about this and we came to the agreement that we should start to 'uncouple,' as they say.
