Ruth Langsford has broken her silence amid the news that she has split from husband Eamonn Holmes. The Loose Women panellist, 64, pointedly chose to ignore the stories about her marriage as she shared a video while walking her dog Maggie.
To this she added the text: "Enjoying the little bit of sunshine we got today!" Ruth then shared a sweet clip of Maggie cuddling him to her mum Joan, writing that the pooch was getting some "Grandma love." It comes after insiders claimed that Ruth and Eamonn are preparing to announce their split, something that has come as quite the shock to their fans.
One source told MailOnline that a 'statement is being prepared' by Ruth's representatives, that will be released on social media. They explained: "Ruth and her team have been telling their friends to look out for the comments, which they are planning to put on social media. "It’s a very sorry tale. They are both so loved by the British public, they won over so many people on This Morning which they hosted for more than a decade." While neither Ruth nor Eamonn have spoken out on the news themselves or given a reason for the split, it has also been reported that work commitments had the pair going in separate directions. The confirmation of their divorce followed on from swirling rumours about the couple, who haven't been pictured together in months.
GB News presenter Eamonn previously sparked concerns about the state of his relationship after telling his followers he had "loads to think about".
