Good Morning Britain host Richard Arnold has lead the calls for ITV's resident medic Dr Hilary Jones to be given a knighthood.
The veteran entertainment editor made the comments during an appearance on Friday's edition of the show hosted by Ben Shephard and Ranveer Singh.
Speaking from his plush home in East London, Richard said: "Dr Hilary , you deserve a gold medal or a knighthood. "My mum wasn't necessarily listening to me but she will listen to you. "She is 83 also she is in that vulnerable category, I've never done this throughout my career but I believe she is watching so 'hello' mum!" The humble doc responded with a polite smile from the ITV studio in central London.
