Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.

He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.

Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

Oscars 2022.Ranvir, 44, aired her concerns about the on-screen altercation and raised that she was worried about the impact it could have on young boys in the future.During the ITV morning show, a short interview with Liam, 28, declared that the physical confrontation should "never have happened".Mum-of-one Ranvir praised the singer after he shared his thoughts on the topic and said, "I thought what Liam Payne said was really interesting."He's a young lad who cries when Will Smith cries, laughs when Will laughs, he's watched every film."Ranvir spoke openly about how she would approach the conversation about what happened with her nine-year-old son Tushaan, who is a fan of MMA Fighting.She explained: "I would say, 'Listen you've got to control your emotions, if somebody makes a joke you've got to walk away or you go and tell someone'."The ITV presenter admitted it was "kind of crazy" that young boys may now think that if someone makes a cruel joke, the response would be to "throw the first punch".She continued: "We need to teach boys to manage their emotions around violence."Ranvir also suggested that if the circumstances were different, the outcome might have been very different for Oscar winner Will.She explained: "If that happened in a school playground, Will Smith would have been suspended and would have been expelled from school.

I know that sounds silly, as it's the Oscars, but we're sort of justifying it because he's famous."
