Good Morning Britain 's Dr Hilary Jones has suggested new COVID-19 testing centres in Turkey may just be a ploy to draw in tourists.
The new "state of the art" testing facility in Istanbul claims to be able to test up to 40,000 people a day for the virus, with results in up to six hours.
If the UK could form a facility that did the same, it would mitigate the need for a quarantine period after someone travels abroad.
Quash Quarantine Campaigner Paul Charles said the UK was "lagging" compared to the rest of the world when it comes to testing figures and speed. "It's not viable to have a long term quarantine plan that lasts 14 days," he said.
