During Wednesday's episode of Good Morning Britain, Adil Ray seemed less than amused by co-host Kate Garraway's banter. As the duo discussed an upcoming water pollution feature on the ITV show, Kate made a playful remark following Ray's comment on a river close to him being affected by pollution.

She joked: "The Thames? That river near you in London? "Kate couldn't help but laugh at her joke, even as Adil gave the camera a disapproving look, clearly not enjoying being the target of her jest.

Kate attempted to apologise, telling her co-star: "Sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me this morning! I've gone all giddy."Trying to change the topic, Adil reached for paper on the desk and started to stand, but Kate grabbed his arm, cautioning him: "Don't you walk out!

Don't you walk out." Adil then pretended to leave the set, going behind the desk towards the door, while the show's music kicked in for an ad break, the Mirror reports.Kate was left to try wrapping up the segment, saying: "You're watching Good Morning Britain on ITV1 which may be hosted by one, you never know."She called out to the departing Adil with a "Come back! " The camera caught him heading into the corridor before he spun around back to the studio floor, showing that his outburst was in jest as he displayed a wide smile and chuckled about the situation. After the ad break, Adil returned to sit with Kate, despite a moment when it looked like he might exit once more.
