Shania Twain's much-anticipated performance at Glastonbury Festival 2024 appeared to be overshadowed as those tuning in to watch spotted another 'amazing' detail.

The country singer opened the coveted Legends slot on Sunday (June 30) with her 1998 hit song, That Don’t Impress Me Much. The star, who told the BBC before the festival opened that she would love to enter the stage on horseback, was instead joined by several drag queens holding horse puppets.

The 58-year-old wore a black cowboy hat and pink ruffled outfit as she sang to thousands of festival-goers, with many also donning cowboy hats.

Shania told the large crowd that "it’s such an honour to be invited" to perform at the iconic music event. Surveying the crowd at Worthy Farm, she added: "I can see a lot of cowboy hats," – an accessory that has become a staple at her gigs. After, the crowd at Worthy Farm joined in as Shania performed a shortened acoustic version of You’re Still The One.
