Ruth Langsford explains reason for appearance change as she's 'set for Loose Women return'

Ruth Langsford has explained the reason for having extensions in her hair as it often causes confusion amongst her fans. The Loose Women star took to social media is she filmed her latest trip to the salon.

Ruth could be seen sitting in the hot seat as her stylist Lauren Houghton tended to her locks. THe hair extension specialist could be seen adding long extensions into the TV star's hair before eventually trimming them to match Ruth's shorter do.

Captioning the video, the presenter, 64, wrote: "Had my extensions renewed @leobancroft salon …..I don’t have them for length, just for extra volume after my hair got thinner in menopause."
