The television favourites, who became household names during their 15-year run as co-hosts on ITV's This Morning from 2006 until 2021, revealed in May this year that they were to divorce following 14 years of marriage.
But in a revealing conversation on the How To Be 60 podcast with Kaye Adams and Karen Mackenzie, which was released in February 2023, 64 year old Eamonn shone a light on his and Ruth's relationship and explained how humour was an important part of their time together.
When quizzed about whether laughter was a constant in their relationship, the GB News presenter shared: "Oh, I'd have to laugh a lot married to her, yes.
