TV veteran Eamonn Holmes is still sporting his wedding band post-split from his wife Ruth Langsford, as he was "not the one who called time" on their relationship, according to a source.
Despite ending their 14-year marriage, both Eamonn and Ruth, both 64, have been spotted by fans still wearing their wedding rings.
A source told Bella magazine that Eamonn has intentionally decided not to ditch his ring because it wasn't his choice to end the relationship. The source said: "Eamonn doesn't want to look like he's the one to blame for the end of their marriage, so he doesn't want to be the one to take the ring off first.
He's saying 'I didn't end this marriage so why should I take my ring off?'." They added: "It's a bit of stubbornness from his side." Even after their break up, Ruth also continues to don her ring, with eagle-eyed Loose Women fans noting the presence of her wedding band, reports the Express. The former This Morning presenters exchanged vows at The Elvetham hotel in Hampshire on June 26, 2010, after being together for 13 years.
