The ex-husband of Eamonn Holmes' reported new girlfriend has spoken out about their relationship.The GB News presenter is believed to be dating Katie Alexander after growing close to her following his split from wife Ruth Langsford.

Eamonn, 64, has been spotted with Katie, 42, on several occasions over recent months.The pair struck up a friendship around two years ago but it has since been reported that it has blossomed into romance, after Eamonn and Ruth, 62, ended their marriage earlier this year.

Katie was previously married to George Alexander, 53, from 2010 until 2022. George has now addressed Katie's new relationship, saying he feels "sympathy" for Ruth.
