Stacey Solomon, queen of home DIY projects, gave followers an insight into her latest project at her Pickle Cottage home. Mum-of-five Stacey, 34, has been bringing fans along with the build of a new pond in her picturesque garden.Taking to Instagram stories, the Loose Women star shared her clever and quick fix to bring her garden features back to life, using micro cement and stones she found lying around: "Made up a solution to make the pond sides pretty!

Found some leftover micro cement from the pool area, slapped it on our leftover pond lining sprinkled leftover stones on it." Elated with the further progression she added: "Let it dry overnight and then tent pegged it in!

Really proud of this makeshift invention." Back on her Instagram, she flaunted the results and you could hear the joy in her voice as she said: "Sorry but I'm just so over the moon because it worked! " Casting the camera over the newly revamped pond, she couldn't help but beam with pride over her successful DIY hack.

But despite how chuffed she was, some critics couldn't overlook one minor detail - the colour of the water. After she got messages over the green hue of the pond, Stacey took to her stories to address it, reports the Mirror.
