A seven-year-old girl died from a pulmonary embolism days after being sent home by her doctor to take Calpol for what was thought to be a tummy bug.
Little Isabellaan Batticombe was suffering problems breathing before she was rushed to hospital where she tragically died on February 12.
She went to the GP around two weeks ago when she started feeling unwell who said Calpol and paracetamol would treat a suspected tummy bug, devastated mum Janine told WalesOnline.
But her condition continued to deteriorate and then after speaking with a different doctor, the youngster was admitted to the University of Wales Hospital.
