Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

evoke.ieSimon Cowell has given his first interview since seriously injuring his back in an electric bike accident. The incident took place at his Malibu home six months ago and the America’s Got Talent judge admitted to Extra that ‘it could have been a lot worse’.
The interview was carried out by his former flame Terri Seymour who Simon recalled being at the hospital with his partner Lauren Silverman ‘all night long’.
Simon explained: ‘When I saw the X-ray, I really nearly could have smashed my spine to pieces, so I literally wouldn’t have been able to walk.
