Simon Cowell’s biggest worry after breaking his back was his son seeing him injured

Simon Cowell has given his first interview since seriously injuring his back in an electric bike accident. The incident took place at his Malibu home six months ago and the America’s Got Talent judge admitted to Extra that ‘it could have been a lot worse’.

The interview was carried out by his former flame Terri Seymour who Simon recalled being at the hospital with his partner Lauren Silverman ‘all night long’.

Simon explained: ‘When I saw the X-ray, I really nearly could have smashed my spine to pieces, so I literally wouldn’t have been able to walk.

I knew I’d broken my back the minute I landed; it was really, really kind of sudden and it hurt.’ While he knew he wasn’t supposed to move, he knew he couldn’t just ‘lie there’ so he made
