Actress Gillian Anderson has reportedly separated from The Crown creator Peter Morgan. The relationship had ‘run its course,’ according to the Daily Mail, ‘not helped’ by work commitments and family logistics.
The couple is said to remain ‘great friends’ but has decided to split amicably after four years together, although they have not publicly confirmed it.
Gillian, 52, who most recently won acclaim for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in blockbuster The Crown, has three children, Piper, 26, Oscar, 14, and Felix, 12, while 57-year-old Peter has five children.
The couple is said to have never lived together, with the actress previously telling The Times at the start of 2020 that living together ‘would be the end of us’.
