mirror.co.ukGethin Jones dropped out of the Celebrity MasterChef final tonight after suffering coronavirus symptoms. The BBC presenter, 42, had done well in the earlier challenges in the semi-final, so fans were stunned when John Torode and Gregg Wallace announced that he had dropped out.
He was unable to join Judi Love, Sam Quek, Phil Daniels, Amar Latif, Gethin Jones and Matthew Pinsent to compete for a place in the final three.
Gethin confirmed on Twitter after the episode aired that he had coronavirus symptoms at the time, meaning that he was unable to take part.
