A German family-of-five on holiday in Wales during its 'firebreak' lockdown have been sent home. Welsh police officers sent them packing back to Germany after they were discovered holidaying in the country during the tough restrictions.
Police discovered the family while carrying out essential travel checks on vehicles, during the curb on movement brought in to drive back the coronavirus outbreak.
Officers stopped the family between Llanmorlais and Llanrhidian in Gower at around 4.15 pm on Sunday, November 8, after noticing their vehicle's German-registered licence plates, reports Wales Online.
