Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell made headlines back in 1997 when she cheekily eschewed royal protocol and planted a kiss on the cheek of a blushing then-Prince Charles at a Charity Gala for the Prince's trust - after her former bandmate, Mel B did the same.

In a throwback to her days with her girl group, Geri planted a sweet kiss on Charles’ cheek and whispered into his ear at a Buckingham Palace reception celebrating trust award winners.
