Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell made headlines back in 1997 when she cheekily eschewed royal protocol and planted a kiss on the cheek of a blushing then-Prince Charles at a Charity Gala for the Prince's trust - after her former bandmate, Mel B did the same.
And it seems that the now-King Charles and Geri (who's last name is now Horner) are still on great terms as she was spotted giving him a hug, a kiss and an encouraging pep talk during a Prince’s Trust event on Wednesday, telling him: "You’re a very modern king”.
In a throwback to her days with her girl group, Geri planted a sweet kiss on Charles’ cheek and whispered into his ear at a Buckingham Palace reception celebrating trust award winners.
