One of the four Minneapolis police officers charged over the death of George Floyd has left jail after posting a $750,000 bond.
Thomas Lane was released around 4.10pm on Wednesday from the Hennepin County Jail, a spokesperson from the Sheriff's Office told the Star Tribune.
The 37-year-old former rookie cop was charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter in connection to the death of Mr Floyd, 46, who died on May 25.
J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao received the same charges on June 3. Derek Chauvin, who was filmed kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes before he passed out, has been charged with second degree murder and faces up to 40 years in prison.
