GEMMA Atkinson has proved she has no fears about the Strictly 'curse' by throwing her support behind Gorka Marquez and Maisie Smith.

Gemma, 35, took to social media hours before her boyfriend Gorka and EastEnders star Maisie hit the Strictly dance floor to share her excitement.

Sharing a picture of professional dancer Gorka and his dance partner Maisie, Gemma said: "Show day! Can't wait to see Gorks & maisie samba [sic]." The former Hollyoaks star, who met Gorka on Strictly Come Dancing, then excitedly shared a clip on Instagram of the pair after they had performed.
