He said: "I've decided to leave my role as the East of England reporter with GB News."He continued: "it's been an amazing experience and I've learned so much working with the very talented people at GB News.
GB News has shaken the UK media landscape, and its reporters are some of the best in the business."Ed added: "It has been a privilege to have played a part and worked alongside so many professionals.
Big things are coming in the future..."This comes less than a month after Rachel Sweeney departed the station as North East Reporter and less than three months after North West reporter Bradley Harris left to join Channel 5 News.Ed would be the 11th reporter to have left the station in just over a year since broadcasting after Hanisha Sethi, Duncan Sleightholme, Conchúr Dowds, Kevin Larkin, Josh Rom, Anna Riley and Balvinder Sidhu also left their respective roles with the start-up broadcaster.For more of the latest showbiz news from Daily Star, make sure you sign up for one of our newsletters here.High-profile presenter Simon McCoy departed the station at the end of 2021 and former Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher is yet to return to her role after stepping back.
