Manchester United legend Gary Neville has claimed that Jose Mourinho does not 'wholly trust his back four' at Tottenham Hotspur, while comparing his current Spurs side to the one he had during his first season at United.
Neville praised the work Mourinho has done in north London, outlining a change in his style of play which has helped Spurs go top of the league.Tottenham have the best goal difference and the best defensive record in the Premier League, with the presence of Moussa Sissoko and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as holding midfielders highlighted as key.
In his column for Sky Sports, Neville wrote: "He [Mourinho] still wants the defensive stability. "He still wants the clean sheet, and I don’t think he wholly trusts his back four at.
