Lukaku left Old Trafford for Inter Milan in 2019 and spent two seasons in Serie A, leading the team to their first Serie A title in 11 years last season and becoming one of the best centre forwards in the world.

That form and quality convinced Chelsea to splash the cash and smash their transfer record to bring the Belgian back to the club, ten years after they allowed him to leave to join Everton as a youngster.
