Henderson recently signed a new five-year deal at Old Trafford following his impressive loan spell at Sheffield United. It now looks likely that he will stay at United and fight with De Gea for the number one spot rather than go back out on loan.
De Gea, meanwhile, is under pressure after an indifferent 2019/20 campaign which has seen some fans hoping that 23-year-old Henderson takes over.But Neville insists that De Gea should still be the Reds' number one keeper, with the former United defender even admitting that he is slightly 'worried' about the predicament for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
