Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher to host Manchester gig featuring James' stars, The Farm and Slow Readers Club

A concert featuring a huge line-up of artists will be held in Manchester next year to raise money to fight food poverty - and it’s going to be hosted by football royalty.

Organised by James’ guitarist Saul Davies and his partner Vanda Guerreiro, MUSIC FEEDS LIVE will take place at the O2 Apollo Manchester in February 2024 in a quest to raise £150,000 for foodbank charity The Trussell Trust.

The event will feature chart-topping musicians and performers like The Farm, Chicane, Slow Readers Club, James’ singer Tim Booth, and British Poet Laureate Simon Armitage with his band LYR. Tickets for the February 27, 2024 gig will go on sale this Friday (December 15) via Ticketmaster. “Music Feeds Live is about positivity and solidarity,” James’ Saul said of the event. “We are giving artists an opportunity to use their voice to generate much needed funds and show support to people living with disadvantage. “Our aim is to raise £150k for foodbanks across the North West and with the help of the public we can do that.
