Councillors have raised concerns about a ‘spate’ of car-jackings across Oldham – including in ‘broad daylight’ at a popular nature spot.
At a meeting of the full council, leader of the Conservative opposition group Councillor Graham Sheldon asked bosses what was being done to tackle the problem.
It comes after Greater Manchester Police (GMP) reported it was hunting a ‘gang of men’ believed to be responsible for a string of recent car robberies across the borough.
