A convicted robber and burglar from Salford has now been on the run for two months. Kaileb Harrison, 24, absconded from prison in January.
He walked out of HMP Thorn Cross, an open prison in the village of Appleton Thorn in Cheshire. He was a member of a prolific organised crime gang from Manchester, Salford, and Tameside, who were caught committing numerous robberies and burglaries across the region.
Six members of the gang were jailed for a total of 65 years. They were snared after posting a picture of them posing with a stolen Porsche on Facebook.
Harrison, from Captain Fold Road, Little Hulton, was jailed for a total of 11 years in October 2017. The group’s rampage lasted from July to September 2015.
