Variety, the actor died on October 12 after hiking and meditating in the hills near Los Angeles.Horan, also known as ‘Sandy’ and sometimes credited as Roy Haron, was a film executive whose martial arts career flourished in Hong Kong’s Golden Era.In 1975, Horan starred in Bruce Lee’s Deadly Kung Fu, and went on to appear in Snuff Bottle Connection and The Ring of Death.The actor also played the evil Russian Assassin disguised as a Jesuit priest in Jackie Chan’s Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow in 1978.
He also directed the video series The Art of High Impact Kicking, before his final acting role in 1987 in No Retreat, No Surrender 2.Following his acting career, Horan was an executive-in-charge of distribution, sales, marketing and international.
