Another 26 people have been discharged from Fairfield Hospital after recovering from coronavirus. Bury & Rochdale Care Organisation, which runs the hospital, shared the news on Monday morning.
It takes the total number of people to have been deemed well enough to return home to 136. Last Wednesday, Pennine Acute Trust said a total of 110 people who had tested positive for coronavirus had been discharged from the hospital, in Bury, since the pandemic began.
The trust is yet to reveal the number of people who have died from coronavirus at the hospital. As of May 4, 352 deaths have been recorded at Pennine Acute Trust's hospitals, according to NHS England's figures.
