Prince Andrew has reportedly been left feeling "furious" after finding out he could be banned from wearing Knight of the Garter robes at King Charles' upcoming coronation.

Andrew, 63, may not be allowed to don the ceremonial robes, which signify his position as Knight of the Garter, at the coronation in May, with Charles, 74, said to be currently deciding what his younger brother should wear.

Andrew was banned from wearing the traditional robes at Queen Elizabeth II's final appearance at the Garter Day procession in Windsor last year, after stepping back from Royal duties due to a sex abuse scandal.

The dad-of-two paid a reported sum £12m to his accuser Virginia Giuffre in an out-of-court settlement after denying her claims that he sexually assaulted her when she was 17.
