Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent France tv distribution has boarded international sales for “Deep Blue Horizons – Exploring the Seas,” a documentary series hosted by journalist and explorer Diego Buñuel.
A reboot of France Televisions‘ iconic wildlife format “Thalassa,” the factual title is being unveiled to buyers at Mipdoc in Cannes.
In the series, Buñuel embarks on a journey from Peru to Australia, and discovers people whose lives depend on the sea. The French program highlights the dangers that threaten seas and oceans, including the pollution, overfishing and global warming; as well as portrays activists and locals who fight to preserve them.
