In doing so he landed a bit of a gamble so the victory was not unexpected in some quarters.The £85,000 purchase and half brother to Cheltenham Festival fancy Soaring Glory reappears quickly today at Exeter and shoulders a 7lb penalty, which should not stop him following up.
Another horse who left previous form behind on his last start was BROADWAY JOE (2.50) who won cosily at Musselburgh. He has had a decent break since then and is only 6lb higher at Newcastle today which gives him a solid chance of following up.
