Frank Lampard has set out his ambition to help Chelsea challenge for the Premier League. The Blues played a decisive part in concluding the title race at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night –their hard-fought 2-1 win against Manchester City confirming Liverpool as champions.
Speaking after the historic game, Lampard considered how his side could win the domestic crown for themselves next season by learning to threaten the likes of Man City week in, week out.
He admitted that he feels Chelsea are still some way behind Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola’s dominant forces, whom he described as “two of – if not the – best teams in the world”.
