Fox News Proposes Donald Trump-Kamala Harris Debate For September 17

Fox News has sent letters to the Donald Trump and Kamala Harris presidential campaigns proposing a presidential debate for Sept.

17 in Pennsylvania. “We are open to a discussion on the exact date, format and location — with or without an audience,” Jay Wallace, executive editor of Fox News Media, and Jessica Loker, VP of politics, wrote in the letters to both campaigns.

They also recommended Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum to moderate the debate. Trump and then-candidate Joe Biden had agreed to two debates, the CNN event on June 27, and an ABC News-sponsored debate on Sept.

10. It’s unclear what the status of the latter debate is, as Trump has recently bashed ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos.
