A fourth child has been arrested following a spate of attacks on children which were filmed using phones. Greater Manchester Police is investigating a series of incidents in Wigan town centre from February and March, with children targeted as young as nine.
Today (March 10), GMP confirmed a 12-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and making threats to kill.
It follows the arrest of three boys, aged 11 to 13, for the same offences. All four youths have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
