A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted abduction after a teenage boy was followed 'slowly' by a Mini driver and asked to get into his car.
The incident happened on Jacksons Lane in Hazel Grove, Stockport, at around 5pm on Monday (March 5). Police said the 14-year-old boy was approached by a man in an orange and black Mini.
The car was parked in a layby, before the driver then asked the boy to get in. He 'drove slowly' behind him along Jacksons Lane. READ MORE: Huge cordon put in place in Bolton after suspicious items found Police said the boy got home safely.
A man - aged in his 40s - has been arrested on suspicion of attempted abduction. He remains in custody to be questioned by detectives.
