Fountains Of Wayne have shared the details of their first gigs since the passing of bassist Adam Schlesinger.Schlesinger, a founding member of the band, movie and TV composer and Emmy and Grammy-award winner, passed away back in 2020 at the age of 52 from complications related to COVID-19.Now, five years after his passing, Fountains Of Wayne have announced that they will be reuniting to play at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on July 4 and Ocean City’s Oceans Calling on September 26.

Back in 2020 shortly after Schlesinger’s death, the surviving Fountains Of Wayne members played a pandemic relief benefit concert via live stream with Sharon Van Etten on bass.Following his passing, Schlesinger received tributes from various friends and colleagues such as Tom Hanks, who wrote, directed and starred in 1997’s That Thing You Do!
