Slayer have shared details of their first UK shows in six years, including a massive outdoor gig in London. Check out the details below.The thrash metal are set to hit the UK for their first shows since a slot at Download in 2019, and will be joined by an impressive number of support acts.Two shows have been announced as part of the new tour, with the first being held at the Blackweir Fields in Cardiff on July 3, and the second taking place at Finsbury Park in London three days later (6).The dates come in celebration of 40 years since the band formed, and the two shows mark the biggest gigs they have ever played in the UK.
They are also the only two headline shows that the band will play in Europe in 2025.According to a new description, the concerts are expected to be “a celebration of everything the iconic band and their fans have built together”, and feature “a career-spanning set, stage production like you’ve never seen before, and a night of pure thrash fury that will be remembered forever.”A post shared by Slayer (@slayerbandofficial)Support will come from melo-death metal pioneers Amon Amarth, fellow thrash icons Anthrax, progressive sludge metal heavyweights Mastodon, hardcore giants Hatebreed and rising talent Neckbreakker.Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 7) at 10am GMT.
