Former Manchester United defender John O'Shea has revealed his desire to move into management now he's retired from playing.
The Republic of Ireland international spent 12 successful years at Old Trafford, winning five Premier League titles and the Champions League, then spending seven years with Sunderland before bringing an end to his playing days with a short stint at Reading.
Since retiring in 2019, O'Shea spent time working with Reading's coaching team, leaving in July, and is now working as an assistant coach with the Republic of Ireland's U21 side.
However, he sees his long-term future in management and the ex-United defender is looking to get the necessary qualifications in order to be able to do so. “That’s the ultimate aim.
