Former Hollyoaks star Ali Bastian was rushed to hospital over the weekend following her heartbreaking cancer diagnosis. The mum-of-two was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer last month, the Mirror reports.

Over this weekend, the actress said she was taken to A&E amid her ongoing weekly chemotherapy treatment. She shared a post to her Instagram story this morning (Monday) to thank everyone who had looked after her at Cork University Hospital.

Back home now getting some fresh air and some rest." The actress, who played Becca Dean in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, first found a lump in her breast when she was feeding her daughter, Isabella.
