Cooped-up Brits could escape their lockdown nightmare with foreign holidays as soon as July, it has emerged. France could become the first nation to open its doors to UK tourists this summer – with Spain, Portugal, Greece and Australia hoping to follow.
Ministers are hopeful that “air bridges” and “sea corridors” can be negotiated with countries with low infection rates by the start of July.
