Terrifying footage shows the moments a devastating fire tore through a house in Bury in the early hours of Sunday morning. Fire crews rushed to Melrose Close in Whitefield at just after midnight on July 30 to reports of a fire.
Neighbours had to be evacuated 'temporarily', with some still unable to return home this afternoon. A 59-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and remains in police custody for questioning.
The fire started in an outbuilding, before spreading to a home, the fire service said.
