Flood alerts issued across Scotland as Storm Christoph descends on the UK

rain showers. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has warned of potential floods to impact large parts of the country over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Scots in Ayrshire and Arran, Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh and Lothians, the Borders and West Central Scotland are set to the be the most affected.

It comes after the Met Office issued a 36-hour ‘danger to life’ weather warning for heavy downpours to hit this part of Scotland from today.
