Manchester United took a huge stride towards returning to competitive action with a training game inside Old Trafford on Saturday.

Most of the first-team and a few younger, fringe players took part in a Reds vs Golds encounter inside the 76,000-seater stadium - which of course contained exactly zero fans.The two sides featured a mix of key stars and less core members of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first choice XI.And from the shots that appeared on the club’s official Twitter, there appeared to be plenty to talk about.
