Blossoms has been announced as the first band to accompany Oasis on their massive tour next year, according to reports. The band, established in 2013 and with three UK number one albums under their belt, hail from Stockport.
And just seconds after Blossoms' headline set at Wythenshawe Park this last weekend drew to a close with their hit Charlemagne, a ten-second clip seemingly teasing the much-speculated Oasis reunion was played on the screen.
Indicating that something was coming, two songs before the end of their sell-out set Blossoms played Oasis' Half The World Away'.
Immediately after the show a short but sweet teaser video showed 27/8/24 written in the Oasis branding. This evening (August 30), The Sun has reported that Blossoms is now confirmed as the band supporting the mega Gallagher reunion.
