Liam Gallagher is reportedly looking for some “established acts” to support Oasis on their upcoming reunion tour.It comes as the Britpop legends recently announced news of their long-awaited reformation, and took the world by storm by announcing 2025 live shows.Already, the ‘Oasis Live 25’ world tour has sold out all of its initially shared 14 stadium dates – set to take place between Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer.
Two extra shows in London have since been announced for September 2025, and tickets will be available to fans who were unsuccessful the first time around.So far, there have been no support slots confirmed for the mammoth run of live shows, and fans have already begun speculating which artists could be selected to join Liam and Noel Gallagher as they head on tour.According to a source speaking with The Independent, the brothers have yet to sit down and discuss who they’d like to support them at the gigs.
That being said, Liam is reportedly eager for a few big names to join.“Liam is keen for established acts so it will probably take a bit of back and forth before anything’s confirmed,” a source close to the band told the outlet.They also dismissed rumours that Villanelle – the band fronted by Liam’s son Gene – would be taking on the slot. “They haven’t even discussed it,” they said, highlighting how the rising band already joined Liam Gallagher for his ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour dates.Around the time that Oasis were teasing the reunion, Blossoms got fans talking when they shared the same teaser on their big concert screens as Liam and Noel.
